Albert Park

This beachside apartment was in need of some brightening as the original chocolate joinery and black marble stone seemed to be much too dark and clashed with the original brunette polished stone tundra flooring and the water front views.

Drawing inspiration from the Brass Christopher boots pendant in the dining area, the continuation of brass fixtures was decided throughout the apartment along with white woodmatt joinery for a subtle texture and a stunning but subtle Santorini stone, which complemented the rust details in the tundra flooring as it too has thin veins of rust deposits throughout.

The original bar area was transformed into a stand up study nook to suit the client’s request and a custom designed brass bar rack was made for the Butler’s pantry which can be seen from the kitchen and dining area, ensuring it is front and centre in all it’s glory. Black mirrored splashbacks and kitchen appliances allow the reflection of the water to enter into the home and tie in with black furniture and hard wear throughout the apartment. The wet areas are illumined with the assistance of mouth blown Italian glass lighting and a vertically stacked subway feature tile.
